The main objective of the profession-overlapping Dairy laboratory is to determine the original milk quality, to evaluate producers and dairy product manufacturers who pay to achieve the quality required by the prescriptions of the valid legislation.

The analyzed parameters to determine the quality are being continuously established by the profession-overlapping laboratory and can also comprise legally obligatory parameters or hygienic sanitary parameters in force which affect the performance of production or the transformation of dairy products.

The Profession-overlapping Laboratory has to generate a strict base of technical information as a trustworthy support for the competences of the Profession-overlapping Association itself and to contribute to a better knowledge of the sector, being able to take measurements in order to promote the improvement of milk quality.
